Looking for a digital camera with at least 3x optical zoom, I only need 256 of memory 512 at most… AA batteries… manual viewfinder HP is excellent. I’m hoping to find one that’s used or refurbished in Canada. Can you Help?

im in the 8th grade, and asking for a camera for Christmas and i want a excellent picture.
one with anti-shake
bc i have asthma and when i use my inhaler i get shaky
one everywhere you can exchange the lighting
and one with high high picture quality.

I just bought this camera refurbished. Everything is like new, except there is no usb or ac adapter included in the box. Do you reckon they would be simple enough to find them in a store like walmart, target or bestbuy?

like if i point in a sharp area, the lcd shows a purple line or haze, but it doesn’t come up in the pictures. i read it’s habitual but just looking for conformation ,I’m just wondering since i brought a refurbished unit.

I just bought a new Canon Powershot A550. The type of rechargable battery I used in it was used up in about 9 shots, but they warned me this might happen with that type. The batteries in the box it came in didn’t last much longer either. Since sending it in for repair might result in me getting a refurbished camera, has anyone establish a solution to this problem other than spending money to get it repaired, or can anyone tell me what i may possibly be doing incorrect?

I’m looking at canon, nikon and sony cameras and want to get a DSLR. I’m ok with buying used, but I’m worried of buying a cheap/terrible camera because I don’t know very much about cameras. Should I buy used, refurbished or new?
