best digital camera to buy??? nothing too expensive
im completely new to photography. i really wanna take classes but there arent any avaliable right now locally. i do not know much about cameras which is why i was asking for peoples opinions.

I am 16 years ancient and I have been using my mother’s camera for a very long time and I have finally saved up enough money to buy a camera and some accessories. I reckon I am going to get the Canon EOS Rebel T2i, but what other cameras compare to it? Which Nikon is the best? Please remember that I am on a budget and the camera needs to be under $1200. I now own a HP digital camera that works just fine. But before digital came by the side of, I had a Nikon film camera which I just loved. Everytime I see a professional, they are using a Nikon. To me digital can’t even compare to film but it’s nice to be able to see the pictures before they are developed. I have taken thousands of pictures over the years that are subdue on my SD cards. Don’t get me incorrect my digital camera is fantastic and I have developed hundreds of the pictures, but when using digital you just can’t stop at one picture.

i dropped my camera in my pool for like maybe 4 seconds rushed over to my towel dried it off turned it off took out the battery and memorty card and now im drying it on low with my hair dryer for a long period of time…it eventually turned on but now the show screen is green and has water spots on it, is there anyway to fix it or may possibly the hair dryer help at all…..if im screwed how much does a new one cost…..just tell me what you know
and now i just realized that my lens isnt going out, its stuck or something, god this really sucks, pllease help as much as possible, i dont want to tell my parents :(
well it looks like registrations001 is right, it works now, and the screen is no longer green!!!! you can subdue see water spots inside of the screen but everything functions properly now so thats fantastic!!!! looks like paneca or whatever was WRONG and im glad

digital camera accessories What digital camera would be best for my needs?
I am thinking of saving up to buy a digital camera nothing over about £300 I’m thinking. I want to use it for :
- photography in town etc.
- photographing groups of friends with some nice things
- taking photos of myself (vain i know) so hopefully an auto-timer or something would be excellent
- and hopefully one that can sit on a stand or a similair belt

I have a new battery in my digital camera. It has been charged only once, but is now completely dead. Now it will not charge. I have another battery for back-up. It charges fine. Why will this battery not charge?

I won a $400 gift certificate at onecall.com and I am plotting on buying a digital camera. I would like one that has excellent zoom capacity to get wildlife shots of birds and larger animals and also excellent landscape shots. I am wondering how much optical zoom I need and what type of belt lenses are excellent for scenery shots. Thanks a lot.
