I’m looking to buy a digital camera, but I have no thought which brands are excellent, etc. I don’t want to spend more than $150, and I’m plotting on picking one out and then looking for it on eBay.

What are the best/ worst brands?
Do you have a camera that you like/despise?
What do you urge?

best cheap digital camera I need to know what is the best (and cheap) digital SLR camera for a beginner?
I am exploring the thought of photography as a new career. I am wanting to take a beginner photography class because i don’t know the first thing about cameras. Of course I am going to need a camera to be able to take any classes, but I don’t want to over-invest just to find out that I am not any excellent. Anyone know of a excellent honestly cheap camera that will fit my needs?

digital camera accessories I want to buy a digital SLR camera, but dont really know what Im looking for?
I don’t want anything super expensive (I’m thinking $500 max), but I don’t really know a lot about them. What are some excellent ones nearly this price range? What are some excellent accessories to get? I want to be able to take pictures lacking being behind the camera, what belt would I need for that?

digital camera accessories Does anyone know what is the best non rechargeable battery for a digital camera?
I have a Canon Powershot camera which takes 4AAs and the sales guy at Best Buy talked me into the nimh rechargeable batteries and they are NEVER charged when I need them (I feel like I wasted $45). I have small kids and have to declare it is hard for me to get into the habit to remember to keep the darn things charged. So when I want to grab my camera it usually is excellent for just a few shots if that.
I tried the new Duracell Pix batteries that say they last twice as long as the alkalines but they gave me about 50 pictures. Are the nimh my only answer? Why can’t the camera or battery companies figure out how to get as many pictures out of a digital camera as you used to get out of a film camera.

I checked Ebay and couldn’t find any that weren’t refurbished. Have you seen one online for that price? Let me know the website, thanks!
I want to buy it as a Secret Santa gift for our office Holiday party. The limit is really 15 dollars, but I’ll go a small over for this person, she doesn’t own a digital camera, but would like one!
